June 3-5, 2026 The Association 'Greenhouses of Russia' with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, the Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management of the Federation Council in Moscow, JSC 'VDNH' held the XXII specialized exhibition 'Protected Ground of Russia', which, by order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia dated December 16, 2024 No 740 'On exhibition, fair and congress events held by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and with participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in 2026', is included in the plan of exhibition events of the agrarian department.
Over its long history, the exhibition 'Protected Ground of Russia' has become an authoritative communication platform for managers and specialists of greenhouse enterprises to exchange experience in growing vegetables, green, berry crops, mushrooms and flowers and, once again, demonstrated the latest achievements of innovative technologies in the greenhouse sector of the country's agro-industrial complex.
The exhibitors of the exhibition were more than 120 enterprises and firms, including those from near and far abroad (Belarus, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan), working in the field of protected ground, which presented greenhouse designs, the latest technologies, machinery, heat and energy, lighting and other equipment and materials, high-yielding varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops, modern biological plant protection products, mineral fertilizers, soils and substrates, containers and packaging for the effective development of greenhouse production.
The exhibitors of the exhibition were more than 120 enterprises and firms, including those from near and far abroad (Belarus, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan), working in the field of protected ground, which presented greenhouse designs, the latest technologies, machinery, heat and energy, lighting and other equipment and materials, high-yielding varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops, modern biological plant protection products, mineral fertilizers, soils and substrates, containers and packaging for the effective development of greenhouse production.
In recent years, greenhouse complexes have made a rapid breakthrough in the production of greenhouse products. In 2024, with a slight increase in the area of greenhouses, the dynamics of the harvest showed a positive growth trend. In recent years, the vector of development has been mainly aimed at increasing the area of greenhouses using the 'light culture' technology. Currently, the area of such greenhouses is more than 2,142 hectares or 2/3 of all industrial winter greenhouses.
At the end of 2024, a record harvest of fresh vegetables in industrial greenhouses was again harvested - more than 1.66 million tons, and cultivated mushrooms - 145 thousand tons, 440 million flowers, which is an important component of ensuring the food security of the state. The leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables in agricultural organizations among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are still the Lipetsk and Moscow regions, the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, the Volgograd, Kaluga and Novosibirsk regions, the Republics of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. They account for more than 50% of the total vegetable production in the country.
At the exhibition, greenhouse complexes presented a wide range of vegetables, green crops, flowers.

The exhibition 'Protected Soil of Russia' is an important business center, a communication platform for business contacts, new ideas and projects for protected ground in Russia and has a fruitful effect on the development of this area.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the competition 'All-Russian Brand. Quality Mark of the XXI Century' was held.

The conference addressed topical issues of the development of protected ground, issues of banking support for construction contracts in the implementation of investment greenhouse projects, innovative solutions for energy saving and cost reduction in the production of greenhouse products, training of personnel for vegetable growing in protected soil, trends in the development of domestic floriculture, insurance programs for greenhouse complexes, including the harvest of vegetables in protected ground and others. Within the framework of the business program, round tables were held on the following topics:
